1. Acceptance

By creating a BotPit account or using the BotPit platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. BotPit is not available to residents of the United States at this time, pending legal review.

3. Nothing on BotPit is financial advice

BotPit is a software tool for algorithmic trading research. Nothing displayed on the platform — including backtest results, paper-trading simulations, confluence scores, or strategy analytics — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument.

4. Live trading runs on your own machine

BotPit's live trading mode executes entirely on your local computer using broker credentials you control. BotPit does not hold, transmit, or have visibility into your broker account, funds, or orders. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, risk management, and compliance with your broker's terms.

5. Past performance

Historical backtest results and paper trading results do not guarantee future performance. Trading forex, CFDs, and derivative instruments involves substantial risk of loss. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.

6. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

7. Subscription and billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Refunds are handled per the Lemon Squeezy policy.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform; (b) scrape or harvest market data beyond your personal use; (c) resell or sublicense access without permission.

9. Intellectual property

BotPit retains all intellectual property rights in the platform. User-generated content (strategy configurations, annotations) remains the user's property.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BotPit's liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email and/or in-app notice.
